FADE IN:

ENTER PRODUCTION COMPANY LOGOS

UPBEAT SOUNDTRACK BEGINS

CUT TO:

INT. INSIDE CAR

Two young girls, KATHERINE and KELLY, just out of college singing whilst travelling in a car.

SOUNDTRACK THEN TURNS INTO DIEGETIC SOUND OF CAR RADIO

BOTH GIRLS:

“And I need you. And I miss you, and now I wonder…”

KELLY turns up the radio

KELLY:

“If I could fall into the sky, do you think time would pass me by?”

CUT TO:

INT. DARK CORRIDOOR.

KELLY is clutching tightly to a knife.

CUT BACK TO PREVIOUS SCENE.

KATHERINE:

“We’re here!”

KELLY:

“Finally! I hate long car journeys”

The car comes to a stop and both girls climb out.

KATHERINE:

“Get me to my NEW bed! I’m knackered!”

KELLY:

“What about all our stuff? The boxes?”

KATHERINE:

“We’ll unload and unpack them tomorrow, its fine”

INTERTITLE WHICH READS: “Two Friends.”

CUT TO:

INT. INSIDE LIVING ROOM.

Kelly and Katherine clink glasses and smile.

INTERTITLE WHICH READS: “One neighbour.”

CUT TO:

INT. OUTSIDE OF THE GIRLS HOUSE.

KATHERINE and KELLY are unloading the boxes from their car. A middle aged man approaches them.

JOESPH:

“Good morning ladies, you must be my new neighbours”

CUT TO:

INT. DARK ROOM.

KATHERINE is sat curled up into a corner, looking up.

KATHERINE:

“Please, stop this!”

Camera shows a low angle shot of a dark figure.

INTERTITLE WHICH READS: “No escape”

CUT BACK TO PREVIOUS SCENE:

Both girls turn to see JOESPH.

They both shake his hand.

KELLY AND KATHERINE:

“Nice to meet you”

JOESPH:

“Likewise, welcome to the neighbourhood”

CUT TO:

INT. INSIDE HOUSE

Tracking shot follows a blood trail along the floor.

CUT BACK TO PREVIOUS SCENE.

JOESPH walks back into his house. Another neighbour from across the street, women of about 50 years of age, approaches the girls.

NEIGHBOUR:

“Word of warning girls, keep an eye out for that one”

She points to JOESPH’S house.

KELLY:
“What do you mean?”

NEIGHBOUR:

“Let’s just say…..he’s trouble”
