Rough Cut of Film Poster

After researching the horror genre and different types of professional film posters of the horror genre I was able to develop and create my own film poster for my trailer. In order to do this I used a software on my MAC computer called Photoshop. The variety of different tools provided on Photoshop coupled with my knowledge of Photoshop from my first year in media studies has allowed me to construct a creative and professional looking film poster.

As you can see from the image above my photograph is of good quality however it was taken the wrong way around therefore there it could not cover the entire page thus making it look less professional. The film poster shown above is not actually the design of the poster I wanted to create for my product. The idea that I was originally going to do was similar to this professional poster shown below:


I was going to combine two photos from my photo shoot to create a similar effect as this one. The two photos which I was going to use are shown below:



Due to the fact these photos were taken too close and the wrong way round I could not use them in my rough cut, therefore in order to create my ideal poster for my final product I must reshoot my photos but this time do them correctly, in time for my deadline.
