Before I began creating the soundtrack for my horror film trailer I decided to familiarise myself with Garage Band by experimenting with the different sounds that are provided on the software. I began by mixing sounds and seeing which ones went well together, then created 3 separate tunes using a variety of different sound types. I did this as I thought it would make creating the best soundtrack for my trailer easier if I became more familiar with the software and more comfortable using it.
