Film Magazine Feedback

In order to gain audience feedback for my final magazine cover and see if my previous audience feedback I created a questionnaire which consisted of 5 questions and asked 2 audience members to complete a questionnaire each.

From the completed questionnaires above you can see that both provided good and helpful feedback. Both audience members said that my final magazine cover had improved from my rough cut magazine cover, this shows how helpful audience feedback can be. I asked the audience which feature of my magazine cover they felt had improved the most, one audience member said that my sell lines had improved the most, this is good as when I received feedback about my rough cut from my teacher she said that more sell lines needed to be added as my magazine cover looked too bare, therefore this shows that I can take opinions and work with them to create some newer and better. Another audience member said that my main image had improved the most, this is extremely useful as my teacher also felt that my main image of my rough cut needed change, I however disagreed and therefore did not plan on changing it however once I started to add in more sell lines I felt that my main image did not stand out at all, in order to solve this I took a screenshot from my trailer then created it into a still image and edited it on Photoshop in order to create an effective horror image. Both audience members said that they would be interested in watching the film after seeing this magazine cover, this shows that from just a few words and a main image I can lure my audience in. When asked "Do you think this magazine cover presents the horror genre well?" both audience members answered yes, when asked why they both said that my magazine looked dark and sinister therefore highlighting my understand of the forms and conventions of the horror genre.
