In order to gain feedback on my final film trailer and see if the previous audience feedback had been useful enough to help me to improve my product, I created a questionnaire which consisted of only 5 questions and asked 2 audience members to complete a questionnaire each.
From the completed questionnaires shown above you can see that both of them provide good feedback. Both of my audience members stated that my final trailer had improved from my rough cut, this is good as it shows how helpful audience feedback can be. The question which I feel is most important in my questionnaire is question 2, "Which feature of my trailer has improved the most?" I provided my audience with 4 choices: editing, intertitles, sountrack or lighting. Both members said that my intertitles had improved the most, this feedback is great as my intertitles were the features of my rough cut which received the most negative feedback as my audience felt they did not link in well with the rest of the trailer, this most recent feedback shows that I can take the opinions of my audience members, work with them and develop something new which will appeal to my audience. Both audience members said that they would be interested in watching this film after seeing this trailer, when asked why one audience member said that the neighbour (main antagonist) looks creepy and that they are interested to know what happens after he turns up behind the girl as she is looking out of the window at the end of the trailer, showing that just through the use of an almost cliff hanger ending I can hook my audience. Both audience members also said that the storyline to this film is presented clearly in this trailer, showing that the structuring of my trailer has been done well.
