Film Poster Feedback

As I am undecided on which film poster to choose for my final product I created a short questionnaire which contains only 6 questions and asked a handful of members from my audience to complete them. This questionnaire was created to find out which poster stood out the most and which was the most effective to my audience.

From the data I have collected I can see that either poster 2 or 3 appeals most to my audience, therefore I will definitely not be using poster 1. The audience members which selected poster 2 said they found this effective because the black and white effect stood out to them as did the bold text. Also that the dark figure makes it look creepy and does not give too much away but gives an idea of the character, making it mysterious. Those who selected poster 3 said they felt it was most effective because the dark figure is creepy and it makes you want to find out who it is and how the story follows through, they also said that the black figure against the bright colours makes it stand out. All of those who filled in my questionnaire said that both posters 2 and 3 would make them want to go and see the film, this is a massive positive to my poster designs.

Although the information which I have gathered is very useful, I am still undecided on which poster to use for my final product as two members of my audience said poster 2 and two members of my audience said poster 3. To solve this I will gather a more professional opinion by asking my teachers to give me some feedback and I will make my final decision from that information.
