Audience Feedback - Film Trailer

In order to gather this audience feedback I screened my trailer to my audience twice. I then provided them with a pen and piece of paper each and asked them to note 2 negative points and 2 positive points to my trailer to highlight what they liked and what they disliked about it.

From the screenshots above you can see that I have gathered a balance of both positive and negative points to my trailer. The negative points to my trailer are that my audience felt my trailer was a bit too short, i agree. This is due to difficulty with time as I was only able to have the camera to film for one day and my actors were only available for a short period of time thus resulting in less footage than I would of hoped. In order to avoid this problem for my filming for my final trailer I will plan my filming day at least a week ahead of time to give my actors plenty of notice, this is also why my trailer lacks dialogue which I what another member of my audience commented on. Another audience member mentioned that a lot of the shots were filmed in the light therefore my shots struggled to give as big as an effective for the horror genre. The positive points to my trailer are that even though I lacked a bit of footage my audience still understood the storyline and overall plot of the film. Another member of my audience said that they felt the soundtrack fit together well with the shots, thus pointing out that my trailer is structured well, the same audience member also said that the slow motion shots build tension, this is the exact reaction I was hoping for when I decided to make these shots in slow motion.

There are a lot of positive points to my trailer however from the feedback above I can see that quite a few adjustments need to be made for my final trailer.
